Golf Tournament

Chrissy and I drove up to the golf tournament and went to the ladies’ luncheon. It was fun to see all of Marcia’s family and Mia and them.
There was a lot of baby passing!

Grandma looked great and she bought that pretty pink sweater for less than 10 bucks! What a bargain lady!
I think this was the best salad I have ever had at one of these parties. It was delicious.
P1130344
We had like 5 hours to kill in between lunch and the dinner so we went around Heber and shopped a bit.
It was fun. We found some clothes for Chrissy for her mission so that was nice.
P1130355 P1130356
Dinner was really good. I had a panic attack because I thought they were serving salmon…lucky for me it was
just chicken! Yay!

Chrissy bought Sadie this hat. It doesn’t quite fit yet but it is adoraable!
P1130364 P1130365
Thank you Chrissy! We tried to see who it would fit! Orrin was the winner. It didn’t fit Beckham!

Chrissy and I left shortly after dinner and I am glad that we did because I was SO tired!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for another wonderful time!

Toy Love

Sadie loves this toy that Randy and Jenny (and Henry) let us borrow. She likes that it lights up and plays music.

I can leave her under there for a long time--so nice when I need to get some things done!

The End of it All

So I decided to watch Gillmore Girls after my sister-in-law, Kristin, gave it to me after Sadie was born.
I had seen some of the episodes with my mom and sisters but decided to sit down and watch it all.

I loved it. Not enough to buy it. But it was really good and nice to sit down and not work or be so busy
and just enjoy a show. I loved it when Chrissy or Kristin would come and watch it with me but was
totally content watching by myself.
Matt once asked me how much time I had wasted…but I truly do not believe that it was a waste.
At least for now…
Anyway, after about 102 hours, or 4.25 days of Gilmore Girls, I finished.
And to celebrate, Chrissy and I got a bunch of crap food and had a “Friday night movie night—Gilmore Girls style.”
Needless to say, it involved a ton of junk food. (but alas, no pizza).

Thank you Gilmore Girls for the entertainment and rest. And Goodbye!

Back to Single’s Ward

Chrissy was worried that no one would be at her FHE activity that Jackson planned so she told us to come.
We played Human Battleship and put curtains in between two teams and then threw water balloons over the curtains.
If you got hit, you were out. It was actually a cool concept and the game was fun but short. It was cool.

Most people left after that so we played a little bit of water-balloon volleyball and then played with the football Matt brought.

A family from our ward was there and we invited them to be on our team. It was fun. They had never played before and are from South America.
Awesome family. Their daughter was in junior primary with us.

Afterwards we helped Jackson clean up and then went over to the swing.

Matt had a hard time with the flash.
It was a lot of fun though and I am glad that we went!

Happy Birthday Christina

Since Chrissy was leaving, we decided to celebrate a bit early while she was still in the States.
She wanted a roast dinner and a cheesecake for dessert. I made it with help from Matt.
Randy, Jenny and Henry all came to celebrate too. Randy is very pleased with his picture taking skills :)

I think Chrissy is making fun of Sadie’s sad face in this picture…

What’s up?

What better way is there to eat Whipped Cream?

We loved celebrating with you. We hope you had fun! We love you so much and are excited for you to go on your mission but sad too.
We will miss having you in Provo with us and your babysitting too! Happy Birthday sweet sister!

Who’s That in the Tree?

Chris and Amanda reynolds (Jessica’s sister and her husband) blessed their baby boy on Sunday.
I went out and took some pictures for them.

Of course while I was doing that—Matt and Sadie were up to no good. :)

Daniel's Graduation

Matt had to go to work so we went and took some pictures before he left by the library.
Daniel wanted Sadie to get to know their little boy.

Grandma Hoffman loves holding Sadie. Sadie enjoys Grandma too.

We took some pictures…the boys, the kids, etc. It was good to get some pictures.

This is me and Matt almost dropping Sadie. Hence the faces.

We then headed over to the Marriott Center for the actual ceremony.
I wish Daniel had told us what side he was on because we were on the opposite side. Oh well!
He did a great job walking and didn’t trip or anything.

In case you couldn’t find him…I highlighted him for you!

Sadie wasn’t that interested (no offense Daniel) and slept  through most of it.
P1130197
She did wake up towards the end though.
She is so proud of her first uncle on the Hoffman side to graduate from college. This is her “YAY Daniel” face.
 P1130204
It is hard to get a good shot in the Marriott center without all the lights on. Here is Jessica checking to see if she got a good one.

Afterwards we went out and took some pictures outside. Sadie is representing me.
Most of those people are Jessica’s family.
