Denver February

Finding such cheap flights to Denver has been awesome. We get to visit often. And we play a lot.
We went to the Zoo.
Went went with a cute family in my Mom's ward.

Grampy put up swings for us.
Grammy took uis to visit the neighbors horses.
We played dangerously on a ladder.
Naturally.
Because we love to do things that could hurt us.
When Mom isn't looking.
We tortured the dog.
We had picnics.
Played on the bouncy house.
Made a huge mess all over Grammy's house.

We ate delicious food and sent pictures to Matt to make him jealous.
Because I am such a nice wife...

We got some battle scars and some cheesies

We saw The Secret Life of Pets.

We tortured the dog some more.

We grew some hairs.

Went for walks.

And dabbled in some singing with Grammy.

We had a great time and love visiting!
Thank you Grammy and Grampy for putting up with us.

It's a...

Oh by the way. We found out at 26 weeks that this baby is a BOY!
Matt and the girls are thrilled.
The girls have been calling this a boy the whole time so we weren't really surprised. We had already become so used to the girls referring to him as a boy.

So for now Baby will be Superman Batman, as named by the girls.

The pregnancy has wiped me out. Luckily Matt is patient and kind.

Midway Ice Castles

Grammy got us tickets to the ice castles for Scout's birthday present. They were so cool! It was freezing cold but we had a great time.

They take forever to make these things and they are beautiful!

Matt was a really good sport to be in so many pictures. And to take time to go. We love him!

We loved going through all the tunnels and caves and looking around. Matt and the girls crawled through all sorts of holes and areas. It was a blast but it was FREEZING so we didn't last too long. As we were leaving they started turning the lights on but we were too cold to stay. Going to the bathroom in the outhouses was basically the worst thing ever :)

These girls are my favorite. They were so fun playing around. They even had an ice slide for them to go down.

Crawling and squeezing.

A few family pictures
And some pictures of the beautiful ice!

Thanks Grammy. It was a blast. Even though we almost lost some fingers.

February Randoms

February came and Matt and I got to go to a dinner for those who had received scholarships. This kind lady and her husband own a bunch of La Quinta Hotels and they gave Matt a half scholarship! That was so nice of them and we were happy to meet her. (Her husband was off working). The dinner was okay and we were able to listen to some people talk as well. It was a nice date night.

Hanging out with these babies is a treat.

And we enjoyed some superbowlness at Kristin and Seth's house, Grammy and Marcia were nice to provide my kids with some Broncos clothes.

And lastly, we just hung out at Costco. I think Sadie definitely has some Hatch genes. What do you think?

Provo City Center Temple

Andrea came back in to town for a week before her mission and got us tickets to go to the Provo City Center Temple. It was so great to go inside and see what beauty had come out of the tabernacle burning down. This temple is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. Not sure what the girls thought but they did love all of the vivid pictures in the rooms. And the oxen.

It was a cold day but we loved being able to go! I am so glad the church lets us walk through them and I know that Temples are houses of the Lord!

Scout turns 2!

This girl is 2! She is hilarious. Stubborn. Funny. Loves babies. Loves her sister. Great with family and little ones, shy when family is not around.

Scout is such a joy in our home. We love her so much.

We decided to have  a candy themed party because Scout loves candy so much. Matt built a playhouse for them to play in.

And we had some decorations around that I cut from my Silhouette.

We had Costco pizza and candy. It was disgusting how much candy people brought.
We were happy to see all our aunties and uncles around.

Uncle Seth showed everyone how cool decorating cupcakes would be.

And this girl got a cupcake. She loved it!

We even tried to have a photobooth but I kind of forgot about it until the very end.

I love these girls! Happy birthday Scout!

Grammy's in January

We flew out to Grammy's house in January after finding 15 dollar flights. Talk about awesome pricing!! My girls were clearly tired. haha. Until they saw that Grammy and Lucy had come to get them! Then it was all excitement.

We did lots of fun activities...
Gingerbread lady

Walking Lucy and going to story time. (My mom is good about getting us out of the house)
Sadie is very good at helping Scout be included. So fun to see them like that.

Sledding. The girls didn't last very long but it was still fun.

Playing on the hammock (one of their favorite by-themselves-activities)

'

Playing with Grampy--and running from his masks.

Giggling at my Grampy's decorating...

Visiting (meeting?) Priscilla

We had such a good time and were sad to go home but we missed our Daddy. Thanks Grammy and Grampy for the fun times!
