I decided that we would do our family Valentine’s party on the thursday after so that all the Hoffman’s could make it. It was quite the challenge working with everyone’s schedules but we managed to do it. I wanted to do it when Mom Hoffman and Seth and Aaron were here because I thought it would be fun.
I wanted to make personalized heart pizzas for everyone so I asked everyone to bring toppings they wanted and valentines for whoever they wanted. Everyone was super good sports. We had a TON of options for toppings on our pizza (mostly thanks to Mom).
Matt and I provided the dough, cheese, sauce and sausage.
I planned a couple Minute to Win it games that I found on Pinterest. The first was stacking Conversation Hearts. We did 1 minute’s time.
The next was sticking pom-poms to your nose using A&D. The first team to do it got a point. I had people draw names for teams so it would be fair.
Poor Scout didn’t know what to think about it.
For the next game we had them throw candy and marshmallows in to bowls a couple feet away. It was funny to watch.
Kristin v. Mom
Seth v. Meiling
Sadie really enjoyed the candy that was being thrown around.
She decided to throw some too.
The last game we played was an M&M straw game that I got from here. This was was hilarious. I was terrible at it and Scout wanted to eat so I dropped out of the game. It was super fun though and everyone got into it.
Here are a few more randoms from the night.
Seth Isaac. Cute kid. And the desserts I made for the party.
Meiling and Andrea being goofs. And Seth enjoying my food.
And these funny hooligans.
Thanks for being good sports Hoffmans. I thought it was a blast!
nice. I was going to do minute to win it at our valentine's date night too but the person who was supposed to babysit backed out. We should have done it anyway cause yours looks fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are a fun sis-daughter-in-law! Those Hoffmans make everything fun! Glad you were able to do it as I know it was hard to coordinate. That looked like a lot of sweets - wow!
