Splash Pad

One day we didn’t want to wait around for forever deciding what to do so we went down to the splash pad in Park City. We were super bummed because when we got there it was not turned on. We asked a lady about it and she said that it had just broken. What a bummer. They weren’t sure what the problem was or if they could fix it as the maintenance guy wasn’t there that day. We decided to eat some of the snacks that Grandma packed and stick around for a while. Not to long later they had it fixed. We were super excited about that.

The kids had fun but Sadie didn’t last very long as it was not very warm outside. Seth Issac was a really good sport and played in the water with the kids.

Meiling was awesome and sat with Scout while I took pictures of Sadie.

They had a blast and we were glad to get the kids out and having fun. They snuggled with Grandma after they were done until they had dried off a bit. I was really sad because I never saw Sadie’s really cute yellow swim suit again. I must have left it there. Sad smile

Afterwards we went home and played with squirt guns! Clark and Sadie loved playing with them!

Aunt Kristin was AWESOME and took them outside for a little while and blew millions of bubbles for them. (Maybe a slight exaggeration…but seriously)

The kids did okay together. This was one of the times that they played with each other more than they fought over toys, or bit, or hit or blah blah blah…(One did the second two more than the other)

These cousins are cute and I am excited for the day when they will play even better and we get to see them again!

Hoffmans and Park City

From the airport we drove straight to Park City to the house Matt’s parents had rented for 10 days. We missed the first couple days but we were excited to go see them. We got there late though and the kids had fallen asleep so I was mean and wouldn’t let the Hoffman kids wake Sadie up to say hi. I told them the girls would be way more fun the next day if they slept well. So we took them straight up, said hi to everyone, and went to bed ourselves. We had the same room that we had two years ago. Our closet was so big that we just put both girls in there. Matt was wonderful and brought up their beds and a couple other things for us to make the week better.
The next day we woke up and were so happy to see everyone. Sadie was really excited to see Clark.

The Hoffman’s spare no expense when it comes to the food at family gatherings which is awesome! We always eat so well when they are around! For some reason it was super smoky when Grandpa was grilling.

Everyone helps prepare the meals, even the guests which is good. We Hoffman’s are not huge fans of moochers that don’t even help set up or clean up or anything. Sadie and Clark had a good time pushing Scout around in the laundry basket.

Grandpa Hoffman always prepares a message for us on the 4th and it is always really good. Since the family was not together on the 4th he decided to do it the Sunday that we were all up there. I did Chrissy’s trivia from the Hatch reunion while Grandpa was getting ready. DSCF9789
Somehow Sadie managed to eat like 3 ice creams a day it felt like. She was in heaven. She would go find the next person who was getting ice cream and ask them for some. Who can resist that one anyway?

Someone and their boyfriend were off snuggling in the grass so we decided to surprise them. Here is right when we pulled the blinds up. Everyone got a good laugh and hopefully it was a good lesson for them!

That night we went on a hike. I was super crabby going but it ended up being awesome. I prayed that my attitude would be changed and Heavenly Father helped me enjoy the hike. I also had a good chat with my husband on the way down so that was nice.

On the way back to the house we saw a Mother Moose and her baby. Sorry for the terrible pictures but they were there I promise! That was really neat.

Family Pictures

What good is a reunion without family pictures? Smile
We took them early on the 3rd.   Lake Winnipesauke
After family pictures Dad, Callie, Andrew and I took the girls out on the boat. We thought it would be a good experience for them.
The big house is so pretty. And this is not even the biggest one the Marriott’s own.

Wakeboarding again. I love it. It was so freeing.

Sadie and Maggie were so cute the whole trip. They loved each other. Sadie is such a social butterfly that she loves hanging with other kids. I don’t know if most other kids care but Sadie certainly does. Anyway, she basically followed Maggie around all day every day. But here they are hanging out. Uncle Jess let Sadie “drive" the boat and she loved it. I wasn’t allowed to get Uncle Jess in the picture though.

We all jumped in the water at one point. The water was so perfect and it felt great to get in every once in a while and then feel the breeze as the boat went on. Sadie was mad because I jumped in with her and she got her face under but after a minute she was okay. She did not love it though.

After jumping in the girls went to go snuggle with Grampy. They love him!

Then after the dried off for a bit they were back to sitting by each other and giggling and laughing together. It was so stinking cute!

Look at these two love birds!  Smile They were so good to plan everything and bring everything that me and the girls would need. Thanks!

Afterwards Dad and I had fun on the jet skis while the kids were sleeping.

Around three we went over to the slide that one of the Hatch’s friends owns. It was a blast. I got a super big wedgie though the first time down so I think I only went once. It was really fun. Mom was super nice to stay with my kids so that I could go while they were sleeping. IT was stressful leaving them but it was still a lot of fun. I think they said it was like 300 feet or something. It was a pretty long slide that dropped pretty far. You definitely flew out the end probably ten feet in the air. It was a little intense! The Whitlock kids LOVED it!

We were so happy the Stephanie and Nathan could come up for the last couple days. They are so fun!

This was how I found Sadie sleeping that night. She climbed out of her pack and play and laid on the twin bed.
