GOING HOME

This is the NICU list. There were only about 10 little babies there which is not very many apparently. That is good for the babies but bad for the nurses who dont get to work.

Parental Units

Before we could take Sadie home we had to watch “The Period of Purple Crying”
and “Infant CPR.” Matt was very serious about learning it and practiced on this baby.

We could only take our white child home. I really wanted the black one but…

It was a little bit of a surprise to have this happen. But we are just grateful that she was healthy.

This is what I got to do two times a week. I sat on a bed and had my contractions
(or lack thereof) and baby’s heart-rate monitored. So exciting.


Hmm. Maybe this is actually from the false labor night…

Blessing Day

Here are some pictures from that day. We had a wonderful turn-out to the blessing at our ward. We took Sadie home and changed her quick.

So quick in fact, that we started before we even got in the house (and before we unbuttoned the back of the dress...)

 Whoops...

Afterwards, we went to the Marriott hotel and had a lunch outside on their patio/restaurant area.

Matt did a nice job of getting food and taking care of lunch.

new calling

jamie has received a new calling. she is a compassionate service coordinator in the north relief society. her focus, along with another lady, is on pregnant sisters.

New Stroller!

In honor of Matt’s and my first run after giving birth I thought I would write one about our stroller.

We got a stroller for my baby shower from both of our parents. We love it! So does Sadie! Here it is after we just pulled it out.
