My new Baby

So we dabbled with getting a bigger car. I knew I wanted an 8 seater. Matt wanted a Toyota or the Odyssey so we looked for a bit. Interestingly enough once we decided we were going to do it Matt went and sold our car. I was shocked. He did it while we were in Washington so I spent some time looking at vehicles up there. I thought we would wait until we had looked for a while and found a good deal since Baby wasn't due for a bit longer. But he was gungho. So being carless we needed to find a new one.

We looked but I was extremely picky about having an 8 seater so that I could have all three kids right behind me. I figured we could always take out that middle middle seat later. Poor Matt was probably really frustrated. Anyway we found one in Hurricane and went down and got it. I LOVE it. :)

Welcome to the family Sienna.

St. Pattys

I don't think Scout was feeling well.

We did some decorations
 e

They had an activity at the multipurpose room for the kids.

We had a quad picnic later. I love our quad.

I hope to make holidays fun for my kids. I think that celebrating little stuff is so fun.

Washington, My Home

I had been wanting to go up to Washington to visit Matt's family so when Aaron had nothing to do for a week we headed out. Aaron was a champ and helped with the kids and driving. I appreciated all his help. We drove to Moses Lake and picked up Clark, staying at Jessica's parent's house for the night. It was fun to see Jessica and chat with her all morning before she had to go to work and us up to the Hoffmans.

My kids were so excited to sit by Clark, hence why he was in the middle.
It was a challenge to get those carseats in.
We need a bigger car.

Five minutes in to the drive it went like this.

Luckily 20 minutes after that it was A-Okay and we kept going.

We stopped for a bit to check this out.
They wouldn't take my card here so I had to scrounge for change.
The guy in the store was nice and charged me less, but I went and got change out of the car to pay him back. Talk about an embarrassing events with a nice gesture!

We finally got to Grandma's house and we were thrilled to be out of the car. Unfortunately Grandma wasn't there. But we hid when she and Seth got home and surprised Seth.

We were able to torture the doggie here too. But Tag is not as easily torturable as Lucy.

Scout up to her antics.

I tried to take the kids for a walk but Clark wanted nothing to do with me. He screamed anytime I tried to do anything with him so Aaron took the reigns.

The kids with Grandma!

Grandma was so nice and created an Easter egg hunt with the kids and did some St. Patrick's stuff as well. It was so fun and the kids loved their prizes.

Grandma took us to the bouncy house place and the kids had a blast. Aaron too.

We had some fun times together. It was definitely good to see Grandma and spend some time with her.

It was a long  drive back but the kids were great. It was snowing in the mountains so we got a slow start but we finally made it.

Denver February

Finding such cheap flights to Denver has been awesome. We get to visit often. And we play a lot.
We went to the Zoo.
Went went with a cute family in my Mom's ward.

Grampy put up swings for us.
Grammy took uis to visit the neighbors horses.
We played dangerously on a ladder.
Naturally.
Because we love to do things that could hurt us.
When Mom isn't looking.
We tortured the dog.
We had picnics.
Played on the bouncy house.
Made a huge mess all over Grammy's house.

We ate delicious food and sent pictures to Matt to make him jealous.
Because I am such a nice wife...

We got some battle scars and some cheesies

We saw The Secret Life of Pets.

We tortured the dog some more.

We grew some hairs.

Went for walks.

And dabbled in some singing with Grammy.

We had a great time and love visiting!
Thank you Grammy and Grampy for putting up with us.

It's a...

Oh by the way. We found out at 26 weeks that this baby is a BOY!
Matt and the girls are thrilled.
The girls have been calling this a boy the whole time so we weren't really surprised. We had already become so used to the girls referring to him as a boy.

So for now Baby will be Superman Batman, as named by the girls.

The pregnancy has wiped me out. Luckily Matt is patient and kind.

Midway Ice Castles

Grammy got us tickets to the ice castles for Scout's birthday present. They were so cool! It was freezing cold but we had a great time.

They take forever to make these things and they are beautiful!

Matt was a really good sport to be in so many pictures. And to take time to go. We love him!

We loved going through all the tunnels and caves and looking around. Matt and the girls crawled through all sorts of holes and areas. It was a blast but it was FREEZING so we didn't last too long. As we were leaving they started turning the lights on but we were too cold to stay. Going to the bathroom in the outhouses was basically the worst thing ever :)

These girls are my favorite. They were so fun playing around. They even had an ice slide for them to go down.

Crawling and squeezing.

A few family pictures
And some pictures of the beautiful ice!

Thanks Grammy. It was a blast. Even though we almost lost some fingers.

February Randoms

February came and Matt and I got to go to a dinner for those who had received scholarships. This kind lady and her husband own a bunch of La Quinta Hotels and they gave Matt a half scholarship! That was so nice of them and we were happy to meet her. (Her husband was off working). The dinner was okay and we were able to listen to some people talk as well. It was a nice date night.

Hanging out with these babies is a treat.

And we enjoyed some superbowlness at Kristin and Seth's house, Grammy and Marcia were nice to provide my kids with some Broncos clothes.

And lastly, we just hung out at Costco. I think Sadie definitely has some Hatch genes. What do you think?

Provo City Center Temple

Andrea came back in to town for a week before her mission and got us tickets to go to the Provo City Center Temple. It was so great to go inside and see what beauty had come out of the tabernacle burning down. This temple is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. Not sure what the girls thought but they did love all of the vivid pictures in the rooms. And the oxen.

It was a cold day but we loved being able to go! I am so glad the church lets us walk through them and I know that Temples are houses of the Lord!
