I have never made spaghetti squash before but it was kind of fun! I loved it!
WARNING: Picture is not appealing. And it’s blurry. Rats.
But can I say DELICIOUS!
It basically had everything in it that I love to use for cooking! (Corn, beans, cheese, salt, meat…)
The kids got pretty messy eating this meal though so we took a bath.
WARNING again: Kids are naked. Sorry.
But they are so cute and love to play and splash together.
And I like them!

First Snow
I was so excited to see it snowing! We got our coats and shoes on and ran outside. So fun! The kids loved it.
Sadie loved it!
I think Scout did too.

Sometimes we like to dance
Need I say more?
Some of our favorite tunes are
1. Party in the USA
2. Kiss You
3. What Makes you Beautiful
4. Just the Way You Are
I can’t think of any more right now. But we love music. And dancing. And sometimes it gets in the way of bedtime.

My Christmas Girls
We had so much fun getting the house ready for Christmas! We decorated on the 1st and loved it. We got our Christmas gear on (thanks Grammy and Jonathan for Sadie’s hat and Scout’s outfit). We set up the nativities and drank hot cocoa. It was extremely enjoyable for me (and hopefully for everyone else too).
I am not sure what everyone was so sad about in this picture! haha.
My little toothless…except she has teeth! But no hair…
This cute girl is so funny!

Going to Grammy’s
We were excited to go see Grammy and Aunt Kara and kids. Sadie loves the airplane so she was dying to go. So many exciting things for her. Matt dropped us off and we (slowly) made it to our gate. Sadie really wanted a picture of this Cheetah but she wouldn’t be in the picture.
Scout LOVED the window. She kept pushing Sadie over so she could get behind her to go to the window. She danced and danced at the window. It was really funny. Sadie was a good sport about it most of the time.
Sadie LOVED Jonathan because he was willing to hold her hand on the way out from the airport. Scout LOVED him because he talked to her and played with her in the car. It was really funny.
We stopped by Sams on the way to the house so Grammy could by a little battery powered car for the kids to ride on and the kids had a blast riding the open ones up and down the aisles.
They were so happy to be here with Grammy and Jonathan. Here is Sadie riding the little plane. She couldn’t figure out how to steer it but she had fun!
When we got to Grammy’s house there was still a little bit of snow so Sadie and Jonathan practiced sledding. Sadie didn’t know what to think about it. It was really warm outside so it was perfect!
The kids were zonked the night. I started Sadie in the crib and Scout in the bed. Scout really likes to find the crack in between the bed and the headboard.

Pumpkin Torture
We had everyone over for carving pumpkins one sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful day!
Then the real torture began!
It was a sad day. Sadie liked to talk about it after though but she always said she did not want to get in again.
Happy Halloween!

Halloween
Matt and I went on a date before Halloween. It was nice to go on one. We went while Kristin and Seth took the girls to their Trunk-or-treat. Unfortunately Matt only would pose for two pictures and they were both blurry. We had fun and Matt kicked my bum at mini golf.
On Halloween we dressed up and went to visit the Greats. First stop was Great Grandma and Grandpa Hatch. We were so happy to see them again!
They are always such gracious hosts. They fed us, gave us candy, and socialized with us for a bit. It was really nice to be with them and I am glad my kids are getting to know them, even just a bit.
Then we visited Grandpa Catron and hopefully I remember to ask Chrissy for the pictures before this posts…
Afterwards we rushed back to go to our trunk or treat at our church building. Since there was a ton of traffic, Matt decorated Andrea’s car as a Haunted House. It was awesome. Kristin and Seth came after a while too and we all had fun hanging out.
Our trunk won so we got a whole box of Costco full size bars. As if we needed more candy.
Matt and Kristin took Sadie trick or treating later and then we checked out the loot. Pretty good eh?
And here is just a random picture of Scout and the caution tape.
It was a good Halloween for these girls don’t you think?

Halloween Half
Kristin, Seth, Andrea, and Andrea’s friend all ran the Halloween half and so we went to cheer them on. This is Kristin crossing the finish line. We tried to drive around and find them but couldn’t so we went to the finish line and got there just in time to see Seth and Kristin finish. It was really fun even though Sadie and Scout didn’t know what was going on.
We were so proud of them!
We even made a sign for them.
It was fun to see them and it was even sunny and warm which made it really nice. They got some food after and were nice to share it with the girls. Here is Scout eyeing Seth probably trying to mooch more food off of him. haha
Thanks for letting us come watch!
