WE visited Grandpa Catron before Christmas. He was so happy to see us. He opened the oven for us so it would be warmer in his apartment…That was one of the many hazards around for Sadie but she did well.
He likes to show us music and videos that are super old. Sadie really enjoyed the bell that he had lying around.
Grandpa told us that Grandma Shirley made the clothespin ornaments with her kids. It was sweet to hear him talking about that and wondering if my dad remembered. He did.
Matt is really good about having us visit him.
After visiting him we went to temple square. We hadn’t been to temple square yet and so we wanted to visit. The lights weren’t going to turn on until 5pm but I thought Sadie would enjoy it during the day as well.

It was beautiful and snowing and I loved it. It was really cold too though so we didn’t spend a ton of time there. I am glad the church does it though and I love the focus on the Savior. Such a good reminder of the reason for the season and who truly made it possible for us to know true joy.
Is that the guy in the plaid coat? lol Matt actually looks good with that length of hair too...so what do I know? Hey! Glad you got a pic of one of the clothespin ornaments...I should have taken some pics of them while I was there. Probably they'll still be up the next time I go? Love that you went to Temple Square again...too bad you didn't see the lights. Maybe if Grandma and Grandpa had been around to have a warmth break?
