Sunday is a Special Day

I think I was in the shower when this was happening, but Jess was nice enough to grab my camera and take a picture. Naughty children I had carefully placed all of Sadie’s outfits in plastic bags for the days—along with diapers, wipes, bows etc. Those got dumped out the first day we were there. Hilarious…These kids are sidekicks.

We went to the ward where Grandma was brought into the church, which then became her home ward for however long until they moved. It was neat to meet the lady whose family brought her into the church and to talk a little bit about her conversion. I guess the building used to be a different Christian church but now is an LDS one. The High School was across the street with what looked like an aquatic center just to the North. We could hear the swim meet going on when we were outside the church. haha. That’s what you get in Ca I guess.

Uncle Aaron enjoyed showing Sadie these flowers. I think I made them pose for these ones. haha. Sadie had her binky a lot because I wanted her to be pleasant the whole trip—spoiled! She normally only gets it during naps and bedtime. She really enjoyed having it all the time here though!

So fun to see! We grabbed the lady out of Sunday School so we could take a picture. (I am so sorry that I forgot her name! I will have to get it from Mom!)

After church we headed to CPK and got lunch. It was pretty good I think my first time there!

These boys were so good at entertaining (and annoying Sadie)—just like her Daddy

After that we went home and put those babies to bed. They were grumpy! Can’t blame them since we have totally messed up their schedules! After naps Grandpa decided to wrestle them. Clark LOVED it! Sadie—well, she wasn’t so sure what to think! haha. She liked it for a little bit at least!

We went swimming in the afternoon. It was cold though so we mostly just sat in the hot tub. The boys were adventurous and got in the swimming pool though and took the babies so we mommies could stay warm!

We stayed out there for probably 30 minutes then headed inside. We went to dinner at this place that had really high ratings on Yelp! but we were a little disappointed. Then Seth and Aaron decided to have their wrestling time with the babies.

It was a good restful day! (Which was good because I was randomly cramping and really belly sore today). It was enough rest to get me through another day at Disneyland!
